Whether or not we are approaching a New Year, it is always a good time to review how you progressing musically right now. If you don’t have any goals, and found you have not had any breakthroughs or “epic wins”, that’s probably why!

So take a few minutes for yourself, and ask yourself the first of the three most important questions to help you move forward over the next twelve months.

(Q1) “What have I achieved musically this year?”

Make a list and you might be surprised what you put down. Too often the little advances we make day-to-day, week-to-week, don’t seem much, but over a year, they really add up. As you work on your master project, make your mantra  “Little and often”. Just practising scales, frequent short bursts will always result in much faster progress.
